Korres Beauty Products

The Korres Pharmacy began in 1989, when Giorgos Korres took over the oldest apothecary in Athens with the aim of developing a unique line of homeopathic remedies. Korres, a pharmacist, soon enlisted the help of a chemical engineer to make the most of the natural ingredients available. The Korres Pharmacy specialised in providing traditional herbal cures, and eventually a customer persuaded staff at the pharmacy Korres to develop skincare products. As word spread about the unique Korres skincare regime, the variety of products on offer expanded. 1996 saw the launch of the Korres Natural Products line, which were sold from the same apothecary in Athens.

Today’s Korres range includes over 150 skin, hair and personal care products – these have been uniquely formulated using essential oils, extracts from plants and herbs to provide users with the benefits of the absolute best that nature has to offer.

Korres skincare products for the face and eye area are derived from almost exclusively natural materials. These products include scrubs and masks with olive stones and chlorophyll; cleansers enriched with magnolia and orange blossom extracts; moisturisers laiden with zinc, yogurt and rose oil; an eye makeup remover with jasmine; and eye creams with evening primrose and yellow hibiscus. Additionally, the Korres collection of facial care products includes a selection of specially-formulated products for trouble spots, such as the Alpine Herbs Anti-Aging Anti-Stress Engergiser cream which works to oxegenate the skin and give it a reviatlised appearance and the Korres Passionflower Firming & Line Smoothing Neck Cream which uses the power of wheat protein to combat slackening and provide an instant lift to the skin. There is also a dedicated line of facial skincare products for men.

For hair, Korres produce an excellent range of shampoos, conditioners, styling products and treatments formulated to meet specific needs of different types of hair. Shampoos by Korres are divided into five hair types, including the Sage & Nettle formula for oily hair that works to balance the sebum on the scalp to leave hair healty and glossy without feeling oily. There are three conditioners in the Korres collection, including the Almond Proteins Leave-On conditioner, which combines the power of a unique wheat protein complex with almond proteins to enhance the strength and manageability of your hair as well as providing UV protection. Korres hair styling line includes sprays and gels, as well as the Yucca Soft Shine Wax, harnessing Yucca extract, Jojoba oil and Provitamin B5 for flexible styling and excellent protection against UV and free radical damage.

For the body, Korres have carefully crafted a collection of cleansing and care products that stimulate the senses. Enhance your shower experience with the creamy Korres Cedar Shower Gel, infused with aloe vera, vitamins C and E, Zinc and other antioxidants. Follow your fantastic Korres shower with one of their body milks to lock in moisture for an all-day, fully-body healthy glow – the Korres Bitter Almond Body Milk has a velvety scent and is enriched with Aloe juice to provide long-lasting hydration. The pantheon of Korres body products also includes effective body scrubs, oils, waters and butters, as well as hand soaps and cellulite treatments.

Additional Korres beauty products include a good line of sun care goods with SPF ratings from 4 to 30. There are also after-sun moisturising milks and gels as well as a specialised hair sunscreen.
